Jeanne Kohl-Welles intends to file another comprehensive medical cannabis
bill to provide fixes and clarity to the current law. The newly revised version is a fair, desirable improvement to the existing statute.
There is yet another new bill out in circulation, possibly soon to be up for our vote, Initiative 502. It threatens to cancel the recent legal amendments, brought on by ESSB 5073, and drastically turn the medical marijuana law against those it purports to protect.
